• Ensure orders are delivered on time and in excellent condition.
• Report to the Yard Manager and interact daily with customers, dispatchers, receivers, and load builders.
• Drive safely and comply with safety regulations and customer service standards.
• Complete required paperwork and scanning for dispatch.
• Follow delivery procedures and take photos of delivered shipments after each delivery.
• Maintain route planning and optimization, and strive for on-time and in-full deliveries.
• Learn products and their applications for end users, and partake in ongoing training.
• Adhere to weight, height, and length limits and ensure all material transported has an invoice or Material Returns Form.
• Annually update driver qualification files as required by federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Class C License
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Current DOT Medical Card or must obtain DOT medical card as condition of employment
• Acceptable driving record
• Ability to speak, write, and read English
• Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reporting of equipment malfunctions per regulations and policy
• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
• Open and transparent communication
• Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications
• Driving experience within a 50-mile radius of the primary location preferred
• Shoes that are puncture resistant, slip resistant, leather or composite, with ankle support

• Ability to pass DOT pre-placement physical
• Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to sit for an extended period
• Ability to stoop, bend, and walk

This is a safety-sensitive position. Drivers work at a lumber yard and make deliveries to jobsites in all weather conditions. Our locations are generally not open past 5 PM and are closed on Sundays.
