Job Summary
Drive and deliver product to customers in a safe, productive, efficient, accurate and timely manner following established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on vehicle and all other appropriate paperwork.
- Fill out truck manifest prior to leaving store.
- Fill out daily trip records including log book and duty sheets.
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
- Commit to high performance by maintaining regular, consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.
- Other duties assigned.
- Able to drive tractor/trailers loaded with cylinders and freight and deliver goods to branch stores/customers.
- Class "A" CDL with T&X endorsements required.
- Must have a current DOT medical certificate.
- At least 24 months experience driving Class A vehicles preferred.
- Must be at 21 years of age (due to insurance reasons).
- Follow all procedures as outlined by DOT regulations and company policy.
- Must have valid Driver's License with good driving record.
- DOT drug screen, physical, and background check required.
- Lift/move up to 50‑70 lbs.; occasionally lift 150‑750 lbs. with lifting device.
Expected hiring salary is $30.00/hr the salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $30.00/hr.–$45.00/hr.
