Responsibilities
Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages; checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service; provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma/GED.
Minimum ExperienceSix (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred. Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
JobConditions
Neat appearance required as customer contact is essential. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Specific requirements apply to any employee operating a company vehicle; refer to policy 4‑48 for exact job requirements. Must maintain a valid driver's license per state requirements for the vehicle type assigned and have a good driving record as outlined in policy.
Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Must be 21 or older and have held a valid driver's license for the previous three years.
Pay TransparencyThis compensation range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and maximum. Actual starting pay will be determined by experience related to the job, market level, pay at the location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
Starting at $23.42/hr up to $35.54/hr.
Additional DetailsFull‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑6:30 pm. Will work at PSCA, PDTA, and LGDA. Will close on 6/12/26.
