Penske Truck Leasing in Pasco is seeking highly motivated and qualified drivers for the Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) role. The position involves vehicle delivery and return at Penske locations and customer sites, primarily moving box trucks up to 26', and for CDL Class A riders, tractors and trailers. The driver may also assist the service department with parts and equipment deliveries.

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske or customer destinations.
• Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; report issues to the location manager.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
• Complete other projects and tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Minimum 2 years of a clean DMV motor vehicle record.
• Valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred). Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work independently, provide customer service, possess organizational skills, and maintain a positive attitude.
• English language proficiency to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Regular, predictable full attendance is required.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and comply with background and drug‑screening requirements.
• Compliance with DOT regulations, including maintaining a driver qualification file, current MVR checks, DOT physical, safety performance history, and drug screening within 30 days of start.

• Must be able to see and hear; requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, and use hands, arms, and reach.
• Must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Must legally operate a vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.

$23.00 /hr plus applicable shift differential.

2–3 days per week; schedule provided in advance. Work any day Monday‑Friday from 8‑12 hours per day. Flexibility to work 0–25 hours weekly as business needs dictate.
