Box Truck Driver and Material Handler

What will you do in this job?

• Assist patrons and donation site attendants of Goodwill with their donations at donation bins, trailers and stores as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to our donors
• Drive, maneuver and park company owned vehicles up to 26,000 gvw
• Operate a forklift to load and unload materials
• Receive and stage donations received from the public, moving materials throughout the facility as needed using company equipment.
• Sort donations at pick-up to expedite safe transport and processing of merchandise for sale
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work site

Starting rate: $20.00 per hour followed by eligibility for annual performance-based increases with maximum pay of $22.50 per hour. Highest pay as a result of ongoing good performance and years of service.

• Can meet physical requirements to move 50 pound objects routinely
• Have experience driving box trucks
• Have a driving record indicating that you can safely drive fleet vehicles
• Are comfortable working in a warehouse environment where you can anticipate getting dirty
• Are available to work weekends and evenings
• Work well on independent tasks
• Have a proven record of being dependable

40 hours per week;
Days and hours are dependent on business needs. Please be aware that the needs of our business include evening and weekend work.
