Job Summary
Virginia Peterson and Winifred Pifer Elementary are seeking TK Paraeducators for their Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program. 6.5 hours daily Benefits available PCN #270030 - Winifred Pifer PCN #260019 - Virginia Peterson Under the direction of the school site principal, assist in the supervision and instruction of students in Transitional Kindergarten programs at an assigned school site. The TK Para educator for Transitional Kindergarten classrooms includes specific instruction and support for students who are ages 3-5.
Requirements/ Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
* Pass a basic skills para educator examination in reading, writing, and mathematics, this test is offered by the district.
* Or have 48 college semester units Para educator and Bilingual exams are given on Thursday's at 1 PM. Please contact Dolly Nancolas at djnancolas to schedule your exam.
