The City of San Luis Obispo is seeking applicants who are enrolled in or have recently completed a California POST Basic Academy to participate in a training-level, non-sworn position within the police service.
Under supervision, incumbents will attend the POST approved basic academy to gain the required knowledge, skills and physical capabilities for police service. Successful completion leads to promotion to a sworn Police Officer with a one-year probation.
