As our Concessions Attendant
, you will work as the central resource to our quick‑service food operations. Your responsibilities revolve around the service of our guests with genuine hospitality, speed, and accuracy. This position has the unique opportunity to wear several hats within the world of Food & Beverage and is integral to our program’s success.
Note:
This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability.
- Provide friendly, quality, genuine hospitality to each guest.
- Greet guests, take orders, prepare, and serve offerings in accordance with established standards.
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu and offerings, including dietary and allergen guidelines.
- Operate cash register and receive payment in cash or credit card while accurately counting and providing change for guests.
- Prepare food and beverage throughout the day as needed by anticipating and reacting to guest volume.
- Work neatly and safely under the sanitary guidelines of the Health Department Rules and Regulations.
- Follow recipes accurately while maintaining food and beverage preparation process.
- Complete food and beverage preparation assignment accurately, neatly, and in a timely fashion.
- Perform shift opening/closing/side work duties as assigned.
- Stock and replenish food, beverage, paper products, and utensils as needed.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain amenities per sanitation guidelines.
- Follow sanitation standards, including washing cookware and utensils throughout the day.
- Set up and break down events and resort functions.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet.
- Flexibility to work events during non‑business hours.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- 6 months previous food and beverage experience is preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. The employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
