The Vineyard Experience Host for ONX Wines is a key member of the Hospitality team and is responsible for leading engaging tours, conducting tastings, and providing educational insights to the public about the rich history of ONX Wines. With a focus on crafting memorable ONX Wines Estate Vineyard guest experiences, this role revolves around cultivating positive customer relationships, adhering to tour protocols and established procedures, and actively assisting with and promoting ONX Wine sales and club memberships.

Prior wine industry experience or a strong foundational knowledge of wine is highly preferred, as this role requires confidence in discussing varietals, winemaking techniques, vineyard practices, and other wine related aspects with guests.

• Conducts guided tours of ONX Wines Estate Vineyard for the public, providing engaging and informative experiences.
• Leads guests through tastings of current wines, offering insights into their characteristics and origins.
• Actively promotes wine sales and wine club memberships to tour guests, demonstrating persuasive selling skills.
• Delivers comprehensive wine and vineyard education, sharing the rich history of ONX Wines throughout the tour.
• Adheres to ONX Wines tour guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in guest experiences.
• Prepares for each tour by following standard operating procedures for opening and closing activities.
• Collaborates in the development of tour scripts, incorporating feedback and seasonal variations.
• Assists guests with wine tastings, education, and purchases, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout the tour.
• Fosters positive customer relationships, contributing to guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provides exceptional customer service, addressing any guest concerns promptly and effectively, and communicating feedback to management.
• Supports general vineyard supply inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels for tour operations.
• Assists in maintaining Kawasaki Mules used for tours, including refueling, cleaning, and monitoring tire pressure.
• Hosts large group tastings and VIP guests as assigned, delivering personalized experiences tailored to their needs.
• Cross-trains to support other hospitality departments as required, contributing to overall team effectiveness.
• Executes additional vineyard experiences as assigned, such as Vineyard Picnics and Afternoon Teas, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Serves as a positive ambassador for the company, upholding its values and protecting ONX Wines property at all times.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, late nights, and holidays.
• Have wine industry experience to be able to speak to the wines, soils, farming, organics, elevations of the ONX Estate Vineyard.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including high and low temperatures. ? Time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules and tour time frames. ? Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, striving to create memorable guest experiences.
• Strong multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with TOCK and Wine Direct is advantageous.
• Prior experience in the wine industry is desirable but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in event coordination and/or tour guiding is preferred but not required.
