Leading a dedicated team within Women's and Children's Services, the Perinatal Services Nurse Manager will oversee a cohesive Birth Center that delivers compassionate, family‑centered care across Labor & Delivery, triage, postpartum, and related women's health services. Reporting to the Director of Women's and Children's Services, the Maternal Child Health Nurse Manager will partner closely with nurse educators, lactation consultants, OB anesthesia, neonatology, case management, and informatics to ensure operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and budgeting for the birth center.
- Lead quality and safety initiatives and maintain regulatory readiness.
- Improve patient experience and foster staff engagement.
- Promote best practices through AWHONN standards, C‑EFM education, and NRP readiness.
- Mentor the nursing team and advance evidence‑based practice.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
