Brewery Emporium Associate

Job Summary

The Brewery Emporium Associate will work in our brewery store which will serve as a haven for the ultimate craft beer connoisseur who seeks to delve deeper into the worlds of homebrew and beer education. The Associate provides a welcoming and educational experience to guests with the ability to impact knowledge of brewing, products, and beer in general. They should be a conduit for education and an enjoyable atmosphere that embodies the Destination Paso theme.

• Provide inventory management using our POS system to include planning and stocking
• Complete front and back end operations
• Provide excellent customer service including educating and informing customers on our beer, history, and products for sale
• Maintain a working knowledge of beer and brewing in general and specifically knowledge of Firestone Walkers beers
• Maintain order and cleanliness at all times
• Follow all ABC laws
• Create a fun, high energy environment
• Make customers feel welcome and relaxed
• Fill growlers as needed for customers and ensure they are filled properly and efficiently
• Divulge the correct information to the customer about each beer served
• Greet each customer as they enter the Emporium
• Process cash and credit card transactions through POS system
• Reconcile the cash/credit drawer at the end of the day
• Complete opening and closing tasks correctly and efficiently
• Constantly straighten retail items so they appear aesthetically appealing to the customer
• Stock and replenish retail items including beer and merchandise
• Change kegs as needed for beer tastings
• Properly clean and maintain the draught system
