Winn Companies is looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Oak Park 3, a 76-unit residential community located in Paso Robles, CA
.
In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots to satisfy ownership and management objectives.
The pay range for this role is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour based on experience. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This is a full-time position with rotational on‑call duties.
- Perform repairs in areas such as appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting and basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
- Assist in preparing vacant apartments for market‑ready status in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities.
- Be available for on‑call activity during off hours and emergencies based on a pre‑determined schedule and need.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in apartment maintenance.
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and/or carpentry.
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet driving record standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
- Basic familiarity with computers and tablets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability for on‑call activity during off‑hours for urgent needs.
- Vocational or technical training.
- CAMT certification.
