HVAC Installer Journeyman

Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Immediate opening for an HVAC Journeyman Installer.

Responsible for performing the removal, installation and startup of HVAC equipment in single-family, multi-family, and commercial properties.

• Manage and correct material lists.
• Communicate safety with all Blue Mountain personnel on site.
• Communicate task and quality with all Blue Mountain personnel on site.
• Installation of HVAC, sheet metal and gutter is a plus.
• Have knowledge of current HVAC code, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to communicate with Superintendents.
• Collaborate with supervisor to coordinate work orders and completion of jobs and deliveries.
• Handle employee-related duties, such as maintaining work records and monitoring absenteeism and performance.
• Secure supplies and equipment daily.
• Coordinate deliveries to job sites.
• Fabrication review and layouts.
• Install gutter and sheet metal.
• Assist in scheduling and approval of employee time off and timesheets for payroll purposes.
• Coordinate safety as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines.
• Journeyman experience in HVAC I and II; knowledge of gutter and sheet metal is a plus.
• 5+ years of HVAC residential construction experience.
• Must be able to lift 70+ lbs. with no issues, climb ladders, grasp objects, bend, push, and pull.
• Must have reliable transportation and tools.
• Must have skills in HVAC repair and maintenance.
• Experience with construction scheduling and running large crews of field installers.
• Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead others.

• Physical stamina: may work extended hours walking, standing, and remaining active.
• Bending & crawling: may work extended hours kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
• Lifting: may need to lift large parts and objects; should be able to lift 50 pounds safely.
• Working in extreme conditions: may be required in settings with extreme cold or heat.

The base pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00.
