Insite US is partnering with a reputable and growing public accounting firm in New Jersey that is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its expanding tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional to gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of tax engagements and develop a long‑term career within public practice.

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations.
• Assist with tax compliance and preparation work across a diverse client portfolio.
• Support senior staff with tax planning and advisory engagements.
• Conduct basic tax research and assist with resolving client queries.
• Gather and organize financial data to ensure accurate and timely filings.
• Communicate with clients to request information and clarify documentation.
• Assist with responding to tax notices where required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable deadlines and firm standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or tax (public accounting experience preferred but not essential).
• CPA or EA preferred, or willingness to pursue qualification.
• Strong interest in tax and public accounting.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and tax principles.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software is an advantage.
