Tax Supervisor
- Private Client Services

Responsibilities:

• Prepares federal, state and local tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections, focusing mainly on high net worth individuals and trust returns
• Review tax work of staff and interns and provide feedback, training, and mentoring
• Review tax information supplied by client and obtain open items
• Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, tax work, and wrap-up
• Perform tax research to resolve issues
• Identify and communicate tax matters to Managers and Partners
• Build relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting required;
  Masters in Taxation preferred
• 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm
• CPA or (in progress) preferred
• Possess knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws individual, trust, gifts taxation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledge of Axcess and XCM is a plus
