Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a collaborative and growing finance team within a global manufacturing organization. This role offers a strong mix of technical accounting, financial reporting, and operational exposure—ideal for a hands‑on professional looking to grow within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support monthly and year‑end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Manage fixed asset tracking and reporting
- Support capital expenditure accounting
- Oversee accounting for customer incentive and rebate programs
- Monitor cash activity and maintain strong internal controls
- Support inventory accounting and cost analysis initiatives
- Provide oversight and guidance to accounts payable and receivable functions
- Review and approve work prepared by accounting staff
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience
- Prior experience reviewing or supervising staff work
- Experience with Power BI is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and at all levels of the organization
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
