This is not just a brand support role—it’s a chance to own the direction of categories from research through post-launch
, manage vendor relationships, and directly influence profitability.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify product opportunities, trends, and pricing strategies.
- Own the product lifecycle—from research and forecasting through replenishment and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, wholesalers, and partners, ensuring smooth communication and reliable supply.
- Manage category P&L, including pricing adjustments, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with in-house advertising and operations teams to set strategy and maximize ROI.
The ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in apparel/swimwear categories
and understands seasonality, fabrications, and silhouettes. - Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning a mini P&L.
- Confident in Excel (pivot tables, forecasting, order projections).
- A strong communicator who can build rapport with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Prior experience in apparel (men’s/women’s swimwear strongly preferred).
- 3–5+ years in brand management, buying, or category management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Location: On-site, Tinton Falls, NJ (5 days/week).
- Compensation: $100K base (flexible, up to $120K for the right candidate) + commission structure ($5–20K annually, performance-based).
- Start Date: ASAP (targeting October).
