Supported the transition of Medicaid Drug Rebate operations during leadership turnover to ensure continuity of financial and compliance activities.
Gathered, analyzed, and documented business requirements from subject matter experts for drug rebate invoicing, dispute resolution, reconciliation, and CMS reporting.
Participated in market research to identify vendors capable of assuming full drug rebate operational responsibilities.
Reviewed existing workflows, system touchpoints, reporting processes, and data dependencies to support modernization planning and process improvement.
Coordinated cross-functional discussions between operational teams, finance, IT, and program leadership to align rebate operations with overall Medicaid system updates.
Facilitated knowledge transfer activities to preserve operational continuity and reduce risk during organizational change.
Must have a comprehensive understanding of Drug Rebate operations, including rebate processing, financial management, CMS Reporting, and dispute resolution.
Medicaid experience is key.
Must be familiar with Drug Rebate legislation and federal guidelines.
Understanding of the various claims associated with Drug Rebate, including pharmacy and 340B.
Must always be professional and presentable to the client.
Experience developing presentations, executive summaries, requirements documents, and research papers as needed to support project work.
