Job Role: Construction Estimator / Senior Estimator (Must have ground-up experience)
Location: Hudson County, NJ
Base Salary: up to $210K base
I'm currently representing a well-established and growing General Contractor that is looking to add an Estimator or Senior Estimator to its team in Hudson County, New Jersey.
This contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering complex and high-profile projects across the region, with a portfolio that includes:
- Ground-Up Multifamily Developments
- Commercial Construction Projects
- Mixed-Use Developments
- Landmark & Signature Projects
As part of a growing preconstruction team, you will play a key role in the preparation of competitive bids, cost estimates, budgeting, value engineering, subcontractor procurement, and overall project planning from concept through award.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed conceptual and hard-bid estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing
- Develop budgets and cost plans throughout project life cycles
- Identify value engineering opportunities
- Collaborate closely with operations, project management, and ownership teams
- Support business development and client pursuits as required
- Experience estimating construction projects within the ground-up multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, or related sectors
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with industry-standard estimating software preferred
- Base Salary:
Up to $210,000 (depending on experience) - Competitive benefits package
