Part Time Educator- Pennsauken Public Schools

Position Overview

Right At School offers before‑and‑after school extended‑day programs that focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment to support student success.

School Year:
Monday‑Friday, 6:30 AM – 9:05 AM and 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (may vary by location). Summer Camp:
Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (may vary by business needs).

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, encourage collaboration, and promote team accountability.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily
  
  Activities:
  
  prepare and lead curriculum that aligns with program objectives—structured fitness, activities, and educational curricula suitable for all ages.
• Lead by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring children enjoy themselves while meeting program goals through positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment, address hazards, and follow safety protocols; document attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least one year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• First Aid and CPR in‑person.
• Clear tuberculosis test.
• Proof of MMR.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of high‑school diploma or GED.
