The Associate Dean of Faculty Development and Strategic Initiatives is a member of the senior leadership team and works with the team to set goals and strategy across all domains of the School. This position requires oversight of all faculty‑related strategic goals and initiatives, as well as significant reporting requirements of the School. Reporting responsibilities include oversight of AACSB annual data surveys, undergraduate and graduate external rankings, and portions of the annual report that relate to faculty and scholarship.

The Associate Dean will draft the faculty‑related sections of the AACSB Self‑Study report and mid‑cycle application report, and will collaborate with other Stillman administrative team members on prospective student recruiting and alumni engagement.

• Strategic Faculty Development and Research Initiatives: oversee execution of all strategic goals related to research and faculty development, collaborate with the Director of Research and the Director of Teaching and Learning, and coordinate faculty reviews and deployment of faculty "Practice Partners".
• AACSB Accreditation and Internal Reporting Requirements: oversee the School's submissions to annual AACSB surveys, monitor faculty qualifications, and draft faculty and scholarship sections of the annual report and Self‑Study Report.
• Stillman Achievement Awards, Beck Awards and Bright Idea Awards Ceremony: manage tabulations, recordkeeping and communications for annual awards, and coordinate the Bright Idea Awards Ceremony and related publications.
• Other Ranking Surveys: oversee annual submissions to Poets & Quants Undergraduate Business Rankings and U.S. News & World Report graduate program rankings.
• Required Teaching and Scholarship: teach a 3‑credit course (or equivalent) each semester, including preparation, delivery, assessment development, and grading, while maintaining faculty qualifications for AACSB accreditation.
• Research/Graduate Assistant (RA/GA) Oversight: interview, hire, coordinate assignments and assist in onboarding approximately 16 graduate students/employees who work an average of 15 hours per week, with new RAs/GAs joining each semester.
• Prospective Student Recruiting and Alumni Engagement: collaborate with the Stillman administrative team on student recruiting, alumni cultivation, and stewardship.

• PhD in a business discipline domain or a closely aligned field.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in an academic leadership role.
• Demonstrated record of active scholarship and effective teaching.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accreditation processes, with a focus on AACSB accreditation.

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000

Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
