Resource Smart LLC is looking for an experienced Energy Auditor to support energy-efficiency programs for multifamily buildings in New Jersey. The role will primarily involve ASHRAE Level II energy audits, identification of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), technical reporting, and post-installation quality inspections.

Resource Smart LLC is looking for an experienced Energy Auditor to support energy-efficiency programs for multifamily buildings in New Jersey. The role will primarily involve ASHRAE Level II energy audits, identification of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), technical reporting, and post-installation quality inspections.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ASHRAE Level II energy audits for multifamily properties.
- Assess HVAC, domestic hot water, lighting, building envelope, and other energy systems.
- Identify and recommend ECMs
, including heat pumps, electrification, and decarbonization measures. - Collaborate with energy modelers and support DOE Audit Template/Building Sync documentation.
- Prepare technical energy audit and QCI reports
. - Conduct post-installation quality inspections.
- Coordinate with property owners, contractors, clients, and project teams.
- 3+ years of ASHRAE Level II energy audit experience
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience
- Multifamily building experience is a must
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong analytical and technical reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with audit equipment such as IR cameras, data loggers, light meters, and combustion analyzers is preferred
- Knowledge of heat-pump HVAC systems and NJ energy-efficiency/rebate programs is a plus.
