Master Systems Integration Programmer

Duty SummaryDesign, develop, and implement advanced system integration solutions for building control systems, with a focus on Niagara, Distech, Honeywell, and Johnson Controls. Including Access Control and PLC Controls as well as cameras and water/energy meters.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement advanced system integration solutions for building control systems, with a focus on Niagara, Distech, Honeywell, and Johnson Controls. Including Access Control and PLC Controls as well as cameras and water/energy meters.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
- Configure, program, and customize control systems to meet project-specific needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring the seamless operation of all systems.
- Perform system diagnostics and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Create documentation and provide training to clients and team members on integrated systems.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in building automation and control systems.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Niagara, Honeywell, Distech, and Johnson Controls platforms.
- Perform work to OSC Standards on naming and programming.
- Proven expertise in integrating building control systems, with a strong focus on Niagara, Honeywell, Distech, and Johnson Controls.
Building Automation BMS/BAS Specific programming experience is required - Proficiency in programming languages and software tools relevant to control system integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in building automation and controls.
- Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification or training in Niagara, Honeywell, Distech, or Johnson Controls systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of industry tools, multimeters, ethernet testers, etc., and the ability to effectively utilize these tools and read and understand control schematics.
- Safety-minded and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
- Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex BAS issues with customers in a way they understand.
- Critical-thinker, problem-solver, ability to think outside the box.
- Current valid driver’s license for operating motor vehicles in the state of New Jersey.
- Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations.
- Must have professional appearance, strong writing abilities, computer skills, strong customer service skills.
