Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Senior Bridge Inspection Engineer to join our Structural Evaluation Department at our Princeton, NJ location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in NBIS Bridge Inspection & Load Ratings projects, with a focus on major agencies in the tri-state area, preferably with NJDOT projects. As a Senior Bridge Inspection Engineer you will play a key role in supporting the department's operations, ensuring project efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in NBIS Bridge Inspection & Load Ratings projects with major agencies in the tri-state area, preferably with NJDOT projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • NHI bridge inspection training course No. 130055.
  • Experience with Bentley's LARS Load Rating & CombIS programs is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field work as required for bridge inspection and evaluation projects.
  • Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and thorough documentation of structural evaluations.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in structural evaluation methodologies.
  • Assist in the development of reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments.
