What You Will Do

We are looking for Construction Inspectors for upcoming projects to join our growing team in the New York/New Jersey area. In this role, you’ll contribute to vital bridge, tunnel, and aeronautical projects, ensuring quality, safety, and excellence in construction. Key Responsibilities- Perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Fleming Quality Management Protocols (QMP)
- Complete daily inspection reports
- Represent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearance
- Report and take directions from the Resident Engineer
- BS – Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred
- ICC/NICET II, III, or IV Highway Construction
- 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
- OSHA 30-hr
- Divers license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom .
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
- In addition to night and weekend shift work, ability to stay late or come in early as needed
- High School Diploma
- BS – Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferred
- ICC, NICET II, III, or IV, TCC, NJSAT, ACI, preferred
- 4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experience
- OSHA 30-hr
- Driver's license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom .
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills
- Work schedule must be flexible to accommodate varying shifts (day, evening, weekend)
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $175,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
