OverviewJoin a globally recognized leader in the food manufacturing industry. We are seeking a high-caliber Plant Engineer to lead our automation initiatives, optimize high-speed packaging lines, and drive digital transformation at our Jersey City facility.
Mandatory Requirements- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Experience: 5+ years in plant engineering or automation within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Technical PLC Mastery: Expert-level hands‑on experience programming and troubleshooting Allen‑Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000).
- Systems Expertise: Proven experience with Rockwell Factory Talk HMI/SCADA platforms.
- Location: Ability to work on‑site in Jersey City. (Candidates from the Pennsylvania/Tri‑State area are highly encouraged to apply.)

- Automation Optimization: Program and refine PLC and HMI systems to ensure peak performance of high-speed packaging lines.
- Technical Leadership: Act as the lead SME for the maintenance team, resolving complex electrical failures and implementing root‑cause corrective actions.
- Project Management: Lead engineering projects from concept to completion, including scoping, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Data & Digitalization: Use SQL for data extraction and leverage SCADA (Ignition experience is a plus) to drive digital transformation.
- Compliance: Ensure all equipment and automated processes strictly adhere to OSHA, food safety, and regulatory standards.
- Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 (Commensurate with experience).
- Bilingual Bonus: English/Spanish speakers are highly preferred and eligible for additional consideration.
