Environmental Project Manager
Peak Environmental, a Nova Group, GBC company, is looking to add a Project Manager to our environmental consulting company to address our expanding workload in the areas of environmental site assessment, investigation and remediation. This is a unique opportunity for growth. Since 1997, Peak Environmental has been providing professional consulting services for our clients. Currently our project load includes in-situ bio-remediation and in-situ chemical oxidation of chlorinated hydrocarbons;
support of large-scale redevelopment projects; litigation support; soil vapor intrusion and indoor air quality investigations; multi-plume groundwater investigations and remediation of fuel oil related discharges; soil investigations and remediation; multi-phase recovery of inaccessible contaminants; all stages of ISRA compliance, Preliminary Assessments, and Phase II investigations to name a few.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of NJDEP programs/Site Remediation regulations and guidance
- Thorough understanding of SRRA/LSRP Filings
- Proven history of managing complex projects
- Must have the ability to manage client expectations
- Complete projects on time and on/under budget
- Oversee junior staff members/field personnel
- Attention to detail and comprehensive documentation of project developments
- Technical Report Structuring/Writing
- QA/QC of Documents
Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.S. in a related field such as Environmental Geology, Environmental Science, Geological Sciences, Chemistry, or Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the New Jersey environmental consulting field
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification
- Excellent computer skills
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- US Citizenship or Legal Resident Status
- Valid Driver's License
