AWS Cloud Engineer

Duration: 6+ months of contract with possible extension of hire

Location:

Candidate should be based out in EST and CST time zone only (current position is remote but should be ready to travel to San Jose, CA as and when required)

Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Candidates only

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience deploying production cloud networking and infrastructure solutions while adhering to industry-standard Dev Ops principles.
• Experience handling SaaS and/or On-prem applications for a large customer base.
• Service Now Experience, working with the vulnerability response module, ticket triage, building dashboards.
• Experience with one or more of the public cloud providers e.g., AWS, Azure or GCP, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools:
  Ansible
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD).
• Ability to mentor junior engineers on the team, provide technical direction, perform design/code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience with bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Linux and bash scripting.
