Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Radar Systems Engineer to support a company focused on advanced Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) and Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2), delivering cutting‑edge radar, electronic warfare, and AI‑enabled defense technologies. This position is on‑site at Moorestown, NJ;
Camden, NJ; or Syracuse, NY
. The Radar Systems Engineer will support the architecture, design, and performance analysis of high‑performance AESA radar systems, contributing to mission‑critical national defense initiatives. Join a high‑impact team shaping next‑generation radar and integrated defense capabilities.
- Support architecture, design, CONOPS development, and requirements engineering for AESA radar systems
- Perform radar performance analysis, algorithm development, and technical assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and interface with customers and leadership on key technical initiatives
- Support system implementation, integration, and verification activities
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to engineering documentation and deliverables
- 5+ years of experience (Level
3) in radar or defense systems engineering - Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and Python; strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysis
- Experience with radar signal processing, AESA systems, beamforming, and MBSE tools (DOORS, SysML, trade studies)
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 depending on experience and education
