Senior Financial Accountant @ Products Firm

Our client is a Global Manufacturing that has opened a new role in their Finance team. This role reports to the Controller.

This individual will assist with full financials including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

• Manage and drive the full-cycle monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial information is complete and accurate.
• Perform detailed account and bank reconciliations and validating financial data accuracy.
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, preparing all required schedules and documentation. Ensure all accounting procedures and reporting comply with GAAP and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the Controller and CFO on the development and execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision‑making, analyzing operational results to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
• Compile, analyze, and distribute timely and accurate consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements (P&L), and cash flow statements.
• Create sophisticated financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership, providing insightful commentary and variance analysis on the company’s financial performance.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and spearhead initiatives to streamline accounting workflows, automate processes, and enhance the overall internal control environment.
• Provide support for various tax preparation and compliance activities, which may involve assisting with federal, state, local, and payroll tax filings.
• Undertake other special projects or duties as needed to support the broader finance function and business objectives.

• Bachelor’s is a Must. Master’s is a plus
• Strong GAAP knowledge – Full Cycle Accounting, Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Reporting
• 6+ years in Manufacturing Industry
