The Secaucus Board of Education invites qualified and interested individuals to apply for the position of BCBA-Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Qualifications and requirements include Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board-Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification, a bachelor's degree in human services or related major, and at least one year of experience completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans, with two years' experience serving individuals with lifelong disabilities.
Basic functions and responsibilities include interviewing staff and/or family members to gather background information, analyzing data to determine the function of problem behaviors, directly observing the individual served, defining target behaviors, integrating strategies to reduce problem behavior, training staff and/or family members on the behavior support plan, monitoring behavior data, conducting treatment fidelity assessments, and reviewing behavior data to address any discrepancies.

Salary range: $62,600 - $70,110 as per the SEA Contract Employment period: School Year
