We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to partner with clients in designing and implementing innovative logistics solutions. This role requires deep expertise in logistics operations, strong awareness of emerging technologies (AI, GenAI, automation, IoT), and the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable strategies. The SME will act as a trusted advisor to clients and collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure successful execution.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients to understand logistics challenges and business goals.
- Recommend tailored solutions leveraging AI/GenAI, automation, predictive analytics, and digital platforms.
- Present thought leadership on industry trends, technology adoption, and competitive positioning.
- Develop end-to-end logistics strategies covering transportation, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain visibility.
- Evaluate and integrate advanced technologies (digital twins, robotics, AI-powered optimization, blockchain for supply chain).
- Create business cases and ROI models for proposed solutions.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented effectively.
- Provide subject matter expertise during project execution, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Support change management and training for client stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of logistics technology trends and regulatory changes in the USA region.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and client workshops.
- Contribute to thought leadership content (whitepapers, webinars, case studies).
- 15+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing logistics solutions for large enterprises.
- Strong knowledge of AI/GenAI applications in logistics (e.g., demand forecasting, route optimization, intelligent automation).
- Familiarity with digital platforms, IoT, robotics, and blockchain in supply chain.
- Excellent client-facing communication and consulting skills.
- Ability to bridge business needs with technical delivery teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
