As our Sr. Technical Solution Architect, AWS you will challenge customers to build agile infrastructure solutions through the adoption of AWS Cloud technologies as part of their overall business transformation and success goals. The role will require excellent customer service experience and an ability to understand a client’s business challenges around cloud use, consumption, and managed services. Using this experience and knowledge will enable you to position value‑added solutions that help the client understand the transition of contract and the added deliverables they will receive.

• Design and architect holistic AWS cloud solutions with a focus on cloud migration and data center modernization backed by data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with AWS Account Executives and AWS Presales Specialists to support customers on their journeys to AWS.
• Create strategic cloud roadmaps that move the needle for customers.
• Take a leadership role in bridging the gap between business outcomes and IT initiatives.
• Create alignment between customers’ IT and AWS cloud solutions.
• Develop a mutual cloud vision that customers want to embrace and execute upon.
• Document the agreed‑upon solution through well‑written, thoughtful and detailed statements of work (SOW) for Softchoice services.
• Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure services are delivered as specified in your SOW and meet customer business outcome objectives.
• Provide client feedback to solution development team members who manage and innovate AWS cloud services offerings.
• Participate in innovation activities that bring customer awareness of solution needs and experience considerations.

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience implementing and/or selling cloud solutions; at least 3 years in a presales capacity.
• AWS certification(s). Solutions Architect Professional is a requirement.
• A passion for working with technical resources and business leaders to establish trust and credibility within an organization.
• A deep understanding of Dev Ops, application modernization and AI concepts and how to apply them to a customer’s cloud journey.
• Strong team orientation and the ability to lead peer teams to accomplish complex objectives.
• Responsive and effective communication skills with the ability to align the goals of multiple stakeholders.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, leveraging video calls, whiteboarding and PowerPoint.
• A passionate and creative problem solver.
• A willingness to learn quickly and stay curious about new technologies and their business impact.
• A mindset of being a change agent thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual in French is an asset.

Base pay range in Ontario: $116,030 to $154,700 annually plus 30% Target Incentives. Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, education and related certification.
