Service Now Technical Architect - JD

Contract Length: 6 months

Preferred Dallas or New Jersey, but for a great candidate REMOTE in the US is fine

8+ years experience and proven specialization in Service Now implementation
At least 3 App Engine based Scoped Applications implementations at Technical consultant capacity

Job Description:

Experience in scoped applications design using App Engine studio for Custom scoped applications
Experience in integrations with third party systems
Good Understanding of scoped implementations and design multiple scoped apps for shared services
Good understanding of platform capabilities in Service Now
Experience in Service Portal, Flow Designers, Workflows and Integration Hub
Experience in integration with third party tools using API’s
Experience of implementing data loads, inbound and outbound API integrations, catalog items and workflows within Service Now
Experience in foundation data uploads into Servicenow tables
Ability to write JavaScript code that is easy to read, follows standards with extensibility and also to write AngularJS widgets for the Service Portal
Hands on experience in building integrations using REST / SOAP API, OKTA / SSO
Hands on experience in CMDB
Hands on experience in building transform maps and data migration
Hands on experience in scripting languages (Java, Angular etc.)
Good understanding of CMDB, Discovery, Reports, Dashboards, Agent Workspace in Service Now
Client side and server side java scripting.
Unit and regression test implemented solutions as required. Support User Acceptance Tests and implement code into Production.

Conduct weekly show and tell demos to customer on Sprint progress
Interact with customer and provide technical solutions to stories
Ability & Experience to define at an architectural (in consultation with Senior Dev & Architects) and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with business problems.
Experience designing and implementing client facing solutions.
Analyze and Evaluate alternative solutions and recommends cost effective and efficient solutions
Propose detailed architecture of scoped application related to tables and workflows
Design and develop Service Now data model to support process integrations
Support and coordinate scheduling and execution of releases, product upgrades, new technology deployments
Control on Migration of scoped apps from Dev to Test and Prod Service Now instances
Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
Team code review and quality checks

Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
Excellent in Verbal, written communication.
Creative thinking in implementing Service improvements (automation, incident reduction, etc.).
Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands.
Practical experience with agile methodologies/tools
