Technical Project Manager

Candidates will be doing:

• The Client Corporate Information Security (CIS) organization securely enables the business by protecting assets and information across Client networks, infrastructure and applications.
• CIS integrates cybersecurity governance, policies, technologies and operations across Client, and works to incorporate security into the design of technology systems and services.
• The Platform Security team within Client’s Corporate Information Security (CIS) organization works to embed security seamlessly into the development lifecycle of technology systems and services.
• Candidates will track and manage all initiatives that impact the Software Security Center of Excellence (CoE) team and ensure that they are completed on a timely basis.
• In addition, candidates will serve as the CoE liaison to other security organizations and will ensure that all security tasks or communications are distributed accordingly.
• Manage and implement Agile (Kanban) practices for CoE initiatives, and facilitate or participate in key Agile processes across Kanban teams.
• Promote and participate in continuous improvement of processes and tools to enable the team to deliver more value.
• Scale to manage CoE initiatives backlog using project management and tracking tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Communicate with team members and Leadership team on deliverables, performance metrics and project risks respectively, to ensure alignment with goals, remove impediments and deliver on objectives.
• Operationalize security services to scale with ongoing service metrics based on stakeholder commitments

Client is looking for:
Candidates will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of work experience.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in end-to-end project management including planning, executing, tracking and managing costs, schedule and scope.

Even better if candidates have:

• A degree.
• Any Agile or Project Management certification (PMP, PSM I, PSM II, SAFe, SMC etc.).
• Knowledge of Agile approaches (Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban etc).
• Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Agile ALM tools like Atlassian Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Experience working in Technology areas and Dev Ops teams.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to understand and communicate technical information.
• Effective written and oral communication, presentation and analytical skills along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
