Move to $22.75/hr once fully trained ($1 shift differential for 3rd shift)

The Assistant Brewer position is designed to prepare candidates for promotion to Brewer. In this role, you will learn to operate a fully automated 60bbl brewhouse, perform cellar operations including CIP procedures, and manage cold-side additions and equipment such as decanters, centrifuges, and carboblenders. You’ll work closely with teams across QA/QC, Maintenance, and Packaging to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the brewing process.
Adherence to SOPs and safety standards is essential. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build foundational skills and grow into a full-time Brewer role.
- Learn to operate a 60bbl fully automated Brau Kon brewhouse and produce high quality wort within spec
- Learn to perform CIPs of FVs and BBTs both manual and using an automated CIP cart
- Learn to add hops and other cold side ingredients to the fermentation vessels
- Learn to operate the cold side decanter to remove solids from beer
- Learn to operate the Flottweg centrifuge, Pall Cross Flow and Pentair/GEA carboblenders to clarify, trim, and carbonate beer.
- Work collaboratively with QA/QC, Maintenance, and Packaging.
- Adhere to SOPs and the company provided training to work in a safe and organized manner.
- Flexible schedule to work evenings, overnights, and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment including forklifts, chemicals, wet and loud areas.
Training will occur on one of the following shifts for the first 90 days:
- Monday
- Friday 5am - 1pm - Monday
- Friday 12:30pm - 8:30pm
After 90 days, a rotation on 3rd shift is required:
- Sunday
- Wednesday 8pm - 6am - Tuesday
- Friday 8pm - 6am
Schedule rotates quarterly between any of the following shifts:
- Monday
- Friday 5am - 1pm - Tuesday
- Saturday 5am - 1pm - Monday
- Friday 12:30pm - 8:30pm - Sunday
- Thursday 12:30pm - 8:30pm - Sunday
- Wednesday 8pm - 6am - Tuesday
- Friday 8pm - 6am
