Job Title: Materials Management Supervisor

Summary:

Seeking a skilled supervisor to oversee materials management, shipping, and receiving operations. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to drive process improvements while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team responsible for materials management, ensuring timely distribution and receipt of goods.
• Resolve technical and quality issues to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.
• Coordinate and monitor sterilization schedules, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate hazardous waste documentation and oversee proper waste removal procedures.
• Analyze and improve material process flows to adapt to changing business needs and enhance efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and maintain operational procedures, including cycle counting and pull systems.
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of products and materials, upholding safety and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear instructions and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of management or supervisory experience in materials, inventory, or distribution (or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience).
• Strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of leading by example.
• Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, focus on details, and meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
