Dimensional Lumber Processing Subject Matter Expert (SME)
On-site plant visits:
Personally visit multiple plant locations in a short period of time.
Meet with plant managers, IT lead, and other key stakeholders to gather insights, understand current practices, and assess areas of concern.
Prior experience as a plant manager or head of operations in a lumber mill.
In-depth knowledge of dimensional lumber processing, including sawmill operations, drying, grading, and packaging.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently within a limited timeframe.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
