Deputy Campaign Manager

The campaign is seeking a Deputy Campaign Manager to join our dynamic team. The individual will work closely with the Campaign Manager to run a successful campaign by overseeing daily campaign operations and strategy and ensuring that all aspects of the campaign run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact as part of a key, high-profile statewide race.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working directly with and assisting the Campaign Manager to develop and implement a winning political strategy.
• Overseeing budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Managing day-to-day operations and campaign budget.
• Supervising and managing team members.
• Collaborating with and supporting the efforts of field, fundraising, and communications team members, serving as an important link between these teams and senior leadership.
• Coordinating with key stakeholders, partners, and allies including party leaders, elected officials, community groups, and labor organizations.

Qualifications include:

• Proven political campaign experience.
• Strong understanding of political trends and campaign best practices.
• Commitment to building a winning campaign and supporting the campaign's values.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive, problem-solving, multitasking, project management, and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Team-player who enjoys working collaboratively.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.
