Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position, requiring a NJ or compact RN license and at least one year of cardiovascular or critical care experience.

Job Details

• Position is in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting,

• Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures,

• Day shift from 07:00 to 15:30,

• Monitors physiological and hemodynamic data during procedures,

• Works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in a high-acuity environment,

Job Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required,

• At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required,

• Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, can be completed through approved resources,

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred,

Additional Information

• Provides direct care and continuous monitoring throughout cardiovascular lab procedures,

• Responsibilities include equipment checks, supply management, and ensuring readiness of procedure rooms,

• Involved in performance improvement and quality initiatives,

• Must monitor and record patients' conditions continuously while in the Cath Lab,

• May be required to assist with equipment maintenance and inventory control,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on facility needs,
