Job Description
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for the Hospitalist program at Cooperman St. Barnabus Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.
Cooperman St. Barnabus is a 597-bed non profit accredited acute care major teaching hospital in Livingston, NJ.
This is a part‑time 6 shifts per month position. Hours are 7a‑7p. Shifts offered from Monday to Sunday.
Must be able to do stroke and run RRTs. Rapid Response Team Calls. 8 stroke CME’s required.
Duties- Deliver high‑quality patient care in areas such as acute care
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications under established standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and positive outcomes
- Document patient information accurately using Epic systems
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner and state licensure
- Experience in critical care or emergency medicine environment
- Strong background in specimen collection processing techniques
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering compassionate patient‑centered care
