- Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a supervisory role in a long-term care setting is preferred
- Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
- Conduct nursing rounds on all units’ multiple times throughout the shift
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
- Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Assists in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
- Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
- Computer knowledge and experience using Point Click Care (PCC)
- Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines - Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
- Schedule:
