Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position, requiring a NJ or compact RN license and at least one year of cardiovascular or critical care experience.

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA or Red Cross required
• At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required
• Workplace Violence Prevention training (DCI/BVP) required, can be completed through approved resources
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Position is in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a hospital setting
• Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Day shift from 07:00 to 15:30
• Monitors physiological and hemodynamic data during procedures
• Works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members in a high-acuity environment
• Provides direct care and continuous monitoring throughout cardiovascular lab procedures
• Responsibilities include equipment checks, supply management, and ensuring readiness of procedure rooms
• Involved in performance improvement and quality initiatives
• Must monitor and record patients' conditions continuously while in the Cath Lab
• May be required to assist with equipment maintenance and inventory control
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required depending on facility needs
• Candidates who are local will receive the same pay rate as travelers
