Administrative Manager

Acts as an administrative and clinical resource person for problems that arise throughout the hospital. Manages daily staffing, needs during off shift, and assesses staffing to meet pattern requirements. Manages emergency throughput, surge, and bed management.

• Staffing analyses and assurance of staffing pattern compliance per unit
• Advocates for patient safety
• Active role in emergency management
• Performs unit and department rounds
• Receives reports and collaborates with organizational huddles and staffing huddles
• Collaborates with bed management and staffing needs
• Books off‑shift and OR cases—activates call team on call
• Reports significant problems to administrator on call
• Attends every other month team meetings
• Supervises CMC float pool staff (RNs, PCTs, UA – Careview)
• Active in‑patient satisfaction initiative, enforces during off hours
• Performs additional duties as needed based on department needs

• Per diem, evenings and nights
• 7 pm–7 am
• One weekend every four weeks
• Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday and weekends

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• BLS certification
• Valid NJ RN license

Relevant experience:

• 3‑5 years of experience in nursing leadership

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Nursing
• ACLS certification
