American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a NJ or compact license and prior cardiovascular lab or critical care experience.

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital setting
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-15:30
• 13-week assignment length

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification required
• Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification required
• DCI/BVP Workplace Violence Prevention certification required
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care setting required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
• Monitor and record patient physiologic and hemodynamic data throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory and assess procedure room readiness
• Obtain supplies for individual cases and support overall Cardiovascular Lab team needs
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
