Housekeeping Aide

The primary purpose of Housekeeping Aide is to perform daily housekeeping activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This role supports maintaining the facility in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment as directed by the Administrator and/or Director of Housekeeping.

• Follow assigned cleaning schedules as closely as possible
• Report all accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately during the same shift
• Coordinate housekeeping services with nursing staff in resident living and recreational areas
• Perform resident room and discharge cleaning, including dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, wiping, and scrubbing beds, walls, furniture, and fixtures
• Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed
• Keep housekeeping carts stocked and organized
• Complete daily project and assignment schedules

• Experience working in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
