Purpose of position:

This position will be responsible for monitoring and documenting Del Monte's quality and food safety programs. In this role, will also be responsible for the implementation of, and adhere to, all quality, food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Accountabilities:

• Perform inbound inspections.
• Perform re-inspections in the warehouse.
• Perform quality checks on assigned orders.
• Monitor warehouse and vessel discharge temperatures and ethylene levels.
• Conduct quality control inspections on a regular basis and as required by the operations.
• Supervise quality control inspections at the facility.
• Special projects as assigned.

Minimum skills required:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 to 2 years prior experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Good mathematical and communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
