Data Ops QA Strategy Lead

Define and own the QA strategy for the Data Ops platform covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and consumption layers.

Establish test frameworks, standards, and governance aligned to enterprise SDLC and Data Ops best practices.

Act as the single point of accountability for quality metrics, defect leakage, and release readiness.

Design and execute data validation, reconciliation, and integrity testing across:

• Ingestion pipelines batch streaming
• ETLELT processes
• Curated data layers and data products

Validate data completeness, accuracy, timeliness, lineage, and consistency.

Perform schema, metadata, and entitlement testing to ensure correct data access and governance.

Support data migration and cutover testing for legacy to cloud transitions.

Drive test automation for data pipelines, APIs, and platform components.

Integrate QA into CICD pipelines for continuous testing and quality gates.

Leverage cloud native tools and frameworks for scalable test execution.

Validate AWS platform components such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR Step Functions.

Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements relevant to Wealth Management, e.g., data segregation, auditability, access controls.

Support nonfunctional testing including performance, scalability, resiliency, and failover scenarios.

Partner with Info Sec and Data Governance teams to validate controls and policies.

Collaborate with product owner, data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteria.

Provide clear quality dashboards and reporting for leadership and clients.
