Adecco Creative and Marketing has partnered with a fashion house to hire a Quality Assurance Coordinator.

This temp-to-hire position is hybrid in Secaucus, NJ
. You will be onsite 4 days per week and WFH on Fridays. The pay is $30-$35/hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to support the Vice President and QA team with product quality, production documentation, sample management, and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting major retail programs and coordinating quality assurance activities within consumer products, apparel, home goods, or related industries. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timely follow-through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Vice President and Quality Assurance team.
  • Coordinate the preparation, tracking, organization, and submission of Top of Production (TOP) samples.
  • Maintain and update TOP forms, QA documentation, testing records, trackers, and other production-related reports.
  • Prepare and manage Excel spreadsheets, reports, charts, summaries, presentations, and departmental documentation.
  • Track sample submissions, testing results, approvals, and production records to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Follow up with internal teams, suppliers, mills, factories, and external partners to obtain required samples, documentation, and production information.
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively track outstanding items to support timely completion of deliverables.
  • Assist in compiling information for retailer requirements, management reporting, QA reviews, production meetings, and special projects.
  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organize and maintain physical and digital files related to quality assurance, testing, compliance, production, and retailer programs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and general departmental administrative activities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience in quality assurance coordination, production support, product development support, merchandising operations, or administrative coordination.
  • Experience supporting programs for major retailers such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Sam's Club, Home Depot, Lowe's, or other national retail accounts.
  • Familiarity with TOP (Top of Production) submissions, product testing procedures, quality assurance processes, and production documentation.
  • Experience working with color standards, color approval processes, and color management programs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data tracking.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and management reports.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, testing, and production workflows.
  • Experience working with suppliers, factories, mills, and third-party testing laboratories.
  • Familiarity with ERP, PLM, or production management systems is a plus.
