Ameri-Partners is currently seeking an experienced Research Scientist to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development activities. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory expertise, excellent scientific judgment, and experience working in regulated life-sciences environments.
About the RoleThe Research Scientist will support pharmaceutical and biotechnology research and development activities by designing and executing laboratory experiments, developing and optimizing analytical methods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities- Design, execute, and troubleshoot laboratory experiments supporting drug development, analytical development, formulation, or process development.
- Develop, optimize, qualify, and transfer analytical methods.
- Perform testing using HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, dissolution, chromatography, spectroscopy, and other relevant analytical techniques.
- Analyze experimental data, identify trends, investigate abnormalities, and provide scientifically sound conclusions.
- Support method development, method validation, stability studies, method transfer, and laboratory investigations.
- Prepare and review protocols, technical reports, laboratory records, and study documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP/GLP, GDP, SOPs, and data-integrity requirements.
- Collaborate with Analytical Development, Formulation, Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
- Troubleshoot laboratory methods, instrumentation, and experimental issues.
- BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Relevant pharmaceutical or biotechnology R&D/laboratory experience.
- Strong experience with analytical instrumentation and scientific data interpretation.
- Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience in a GMP/GLP-regulated environment preferred.
